Dorimar Bertrán Peñagarícano is a Certified Public Accountant with over nine years of experience providing tax advisory services to local and international clients. She has focused her career in helping clients apply, negotiate, and obtain tax exemption grants under Puerto Rico tax incentives laws (currently Act 60). She also assists clients with preparing and filing the highly technical R&D tax credit application under Act 73 and Act 60, and later assisting them with the entire tax credit sale process.
Ms. Bertrán has provided services to clients in various industries, such as tourism, energy, technology, manufacturing, real estate, non-profit and retail. She started her career at BDO Puerto Rico where she worked her way from staff to manager. Ms. Bertrán graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (2010).
