Carlos R. Colón is an intellectual property and entertainment attorney, musician, and music producer who started his career as a founding member and keyboard player for the Latin alternative group Black Guayaba. He is experienced in legal entity formation, governance matters, contracts, and intellectual property licensing. Carlos attended Berklee College of Music, majoring in Music Business and Management. In the year 2008, Carlos received a Grammy Award and is also the recipient of the prestigious ASCAP Vanguard Award and a Latin Billboard Award Finalist.

Carlos represents artists from various music genres as both their business advisor and attorney—negotiating several types of entertainment contracts, including recording, digital distribution, music publishing, and producer agreements.

Carlos holds a Bachelor in Arts in Marketing from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and a Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law.
